A design feature of many Hatteras boats I have always liked is the one-level deckhouse with galley up. Like the old-fashioned farmhouse kitchen, it is the center of all the social action on on board. Everyone in the same space with a great view all around.
Bedrooms and computer/shop/sewing rooms are below deck.
