Philip,

I tried to haul out there once. He claimed he could lift me but the travel
lift well had silted in and he could not get the straps under my keel.

But they did seem like nice people and we were disappointed we could not be
lifted.

Thanks all,
Great to hear that such boat yards still exist. You folks have got me almost
looking forward to our haul out.

On a similar note: About ten years ago there was a welder in Beaufort named
Fred. We called him 'Fred the Fabricator' and his work was not only reasonably
priced, but exquisitely done. He made a mast head spinnaker bale for me that
was a work of art. Is he still around? Any contact info?
