I use the Wilcox flanged base bronze seacocks bolted directly to the hull
bedded in 1\8" (use spacers) of 5200. I replace the 1/8" pipe fittings with
stainless grease fittings.

These seacocks sometimes weep slightly when moved but eventually stop.

While they can be stiff sometimes, they have tapered plugs and can be loosened
up with some effort. Frequent use will also improve their performance.

Don't install anything smaller than 1 1/2". While a smaller valve may be OK at
first, with a little marine growth the opening rapidly closes down a size.

Subject: [Liveaboard] Bronze fittings

Does anyone have experience with Conbraco brand bronze fittings? I need to
buy all new thru hulls, valves & elbows. Any other brand or vendor
recommendation would be appreciated.
