I am not any part of Turkey.

As you can see by my signature line I am in Florida, but like you, because
I built my boat myself I do not have a HIN.  

A local boater also anchored out as I am was recently harassed by the state
cops because he did not have a HIN.  Eventually, with a lot of effort, he
finally got them to go away.

I would like to avoid the "lot of effort" part and get a HIN before the cop
attack from that particular direction.

Others on the Livaboard List might also.
