I'm sure it's no consolation, but I was thinking to myself last weekend
that the hot items on my to do list are taken care of and I'm really
enjoying my focus on sailing rather than repairing.  Then the stopper knot on
the dangling outhaul line caught in the swivel bracket for the gps as I eased
the mainsheet and mainsail traveler to head downwind toward home.  I nearly
tore the gps and bracket off the wall.  The repair shouldn't be too time
consuming costly or difficultIt but it's urgent enough to move to the top of
the to do list.  I'll also rig up a better setup to control the dangling
outhaul line and prevent the problem from recurring.

Cheers,
Bob Thackery

Strangely enough, just last week I walked off the Sterling Lady , and said out
loud (which I should not have) Dang, everything on the boat is working! wow!!

Well, that nite I tripped and fell grabing the galley faucet,, which is now in
pieces.  I did this while opening the hatch to discover the ac h20 pump is dead.

Should have kept my mouth shut.

See you on the Waterways!
