I had a many thousands of dollars high modules
monoquace carbon fiber frame racing bike, most of
the fittings such as all screws, seat post, stem,
spokes ect were titanium, even the spoke nipples
were ti, and it stayed on the open deck of a Navy
Destroyer next to the signal shack and on an upper
deck of a Navy tender for months at a time with
absolutely NO corrosion (the chain was nickel
plated and coated with good lube besides). Of
course any steel bike stowed with it soon rusted
badly! Hee hee.

Before this bike I had al bikes, they would
corrode but not enough to worry about. -Ken
