Monday morning I got a call from a friend in Patterson advising me that my boat house had been destroyed in a wind storm Sunday night.
I mean destroyed. The wind, from the pictures, picked it up and dropped it about 10-15 feet to one side of the slip. It was right up against our house but no damage there. Now I am dealing with a company to come out with a barge and crane to pick up the scraps. I am glad that we are not home with the boat! The storm also took out two utility poles near our home.
