And, yes, I too feel that fire on board is relevant to discuss. I have seen three boats burn to death, no fire department attending. Ya think if we paid property taxed on our boats they would come to the rescue? Thanks for the input about the burning fiberglass. I have heard that adding fire resistance to fiberglass makes it weaker. Perhaps if we kept wire bundles away from the fiberglass with some sort of heat insulation we could reduce the risks.
