Question: If you were in a marina that is way off the beaten path and wanted
to pumpout and the marina only had a residential sized septic tank/drain
field what would you do? Store the effluent in a large tank to haul away for
treatment? Store in a tank and meter into the system in small portions? Build
some type of treatment plant? There has to be lots of small marinas faced with
this problem and no economical solutions. Anyone have thoughts or experience
with this ? Getting it out of the boat is the easy part, what to do with it
afterwards (cheaply) is the issue.
