I don't comprehend the concept of "there's a minimum of 6 to 8 feet".
Can a vessel that requires a depth of 8 feet enter or not? How about one that requires 7 feet? The entrance at Bimini, which is NOT on the chart, is a straight run in on the entrance channel of the marina there, an easy daylight entrance - the waypoint is 25.42.80N, 79.18.48W, at which point you start to turn up towards North Bimini - run a line out from the marina entrance channel and you should be on the new channel - - can't remember the marina's name, but even if you use the old route, with the 'range' markers, there's a minimum of 6 to 8 feet as of last April, when I was last there. The waypoint for the old entrance is 25.42.01N 79.18.80W, then head for the range marker. Ask a question on any topic and get answers from real people. Go to Yahoo! Answers.
