Hey Noel,

Always good to hear from you! Missed ya!

You know the farthest North I ever sail is Tampa
(and that's never before the month of March).
I don't ever have to think about being in cold water
but I'm glad you pointed out the "cold air" factor of
reverse cycle heat for those who do.

Hugs to you, Wifey, and Baby

Re: [Liveaboard] Heating Aboard?Charmaine,
Seems the wifey likes our radiant floor. And just put in a new dorr to the
sallon (finishing this week). As for reverese cycle....
Works until water temp drops then just blows cold air. also, the heat
exchangers freeze up (don't ask how I know). As for Hydronics.... if you
have one level and are 1-2 people, try a deisel heater without hydronics
(less hassle and fuel burn). If not, then make sure you know every step of
the set up.
I am still tracing the blasted install from Frank Regan. And make sure you
have the correct hook ups to the fuel source (again, don't ask). But the
floor is great and our toes are warm.
