Dear David Dear David I received a reply from Denmark regarding the incident you mentioned. The general opinion from DOCA (Danish Cruising Association), is that it must have been young people simply playing around, he said :
"Lately (the last few years) there have been a lot of complaints about young people in speed boats harassing sailboats riding their wakes etc. It was positively NOT fishing boats as they would have answered the VHF. However your friend can rest assured that it is extremely unlikely that there was criminal intent. A criminal attack on a boat has never been registered in Danish waters." I think that is all I can figure out and it would also be my opinion.
