Oh for crying out loud!
 The battery combiner is one of the most reliable devices in the electrical 
world.
 Just ask Ann-Marie how many have failed in the last 10 years.

 Put a combiner between the house bank and the starting battery.
All starting will be fine as long as the starting battery has enough water, etc.
