I decided to order the CookMate 4200 from a division of the importer after
checking with a few other dealers on complaints or returns. It looked good.

I'll let you how it goes.

Subject: [Liveaboard] Origo vs. CookMate Stoves?

My Homestrand alcohol pressure stoves needs a rebuild. I've been looking at
replacing it with a non-pressure alcohol stove. While pricing Origo's I
found CookMate stoves that seem to be a knock-off of the Origo's but are
going for $80.00 less.

Does anyone have any experience with the CookMate products? Is the quality
the same or at least reasonable?

Also, has anyone replaced their Homestrand/Kenyon 406 (Dbl Drop-in) with one
of the above? Do you know if will fit in the Homestrand gimble frame. My
measurements and the manufacture's specs say it will, but sometimes what
should work doesn't.

Thanks,
