We wintered aboard during several winters in Herrington Harbour just 18 miles South of Annapolis at Deale, MD. Although now we are full time cruising all winter (presently in toasty Venezuela island of Isla Margarita right now) we resolved that we do not want to leave the boat where the water temp freezes as there is too much stress on the boat. We are happy not to have to worry about the electricity going out and leaving the bubbler un-bubbling.
