Hi all: I have a marine/ham SSB radio onboard which is being interfered with by my refrigeration system. The radio is a marine SSB system - ICOM 802. The refrigerator is a generic hermitically sealed (Danfoss?) 12 volt packaged system.
The interference is broad spectrum - i.e. I hear it on a wide range of frequencies. If "sounds" like cricket chirping at about 100 or 120 "chirps" per second. Any suggestions to filter or otherwise eliminate the problem? Thanks for your help.
