Man, you ask for a lot. :) Free dinghy landings in StA - what will you
want next, political stability in the US? :)

The only way I know of to get away with free dinghy dockage in StA, at
least without wading through the mud at the Holy Hole (right below the
big cross) is to anchor north of the Vilano Bridge and to use the boat
ramp at its base (south side.) You're not allowed to tie up there, but
if one of you drops the other one off, you can use it all you want.
I've also spoken to a couple of people who were using the dock at
Catspaw marina (sp?), up the San Sebastian river, and the owner not
minding at all, but I don't know anything else about it.
