Hi, again,
I got a negative reply from them about UHF connectors - they don't do that sort
of thing, apparently, being oriented to a different market.
That said, the pricing on the milspec cable is attractive enough that I'm
considering buying it and cutting off the Ns and making up my own.
That defeats my objective about having a factory connection at the top of the
mast, but, hoonose- maybe I'd do an adequate job, anyway.
Right now, I'm leaning toward 400, however, as the throughput is better than
anything else I've seen, the hole in the top of the mast is big enough, and I
don't have any really tight bends (especially with a 1" radius on the stranded
version!) to worry about it.
With all that's been going on, I forget - does the 400 have UV-stable outsides?
