Hi, Ron, and list,

Yes, the VHF is stellar.  New RU400DB waterproof all the way from the
antenna to the radio, no links other than the joint at the top of the mast.

You can see the installation of that and our wifi setup by clicking the
gallery link below and drilling down the 2009 refit/new-upgrade/electronics.

All is well aboard other than a newly discovered broken base of a toilet,
fortunately happening just as we're going ashore so we don't have to get the
new one shipped to the Bahamas.  Now, just to come up with the order we did
to do the same exact thing in the aft cabin a year or so ago!
