Take I-97 to US Route 50 East. Follow Rt. 50 to MD Route 66 to MD Route 2 South (all very close). Follow Route 2 to MD Route 214 East (left). Go 3 miles, turn right onto Camp Letts Road (after Stock Building Supply sign). Follow for 1.5 miles into camp. FROM WASHINGTON: Washington Beltway to US Route 50 East to MD Route 424 (Davidsonville Road). Follow Route 424 to MD Route 214 East (left). Go about 7 miles. Turn right onto Camp Letts Road (after Stock Building Supply sign). Consult NOAA chart 12270, Chesapeake Bay, Eastern Bay and South River. There’s a large, sheltered anchorage in the area behind High Island (which has nearly disappeared) and heading toward Flat Island. Stay north of Big Island unless you have a shallow draft. *Fly your SSCA burgee!* Is your burgee in tatters? Order a new one in time for the Gam on the online SSCA Ship’s Store. *Mind the Rules! * Be sure to have USCG approved life jackets in your dinghy and lights on at night so your weekend isn’t ruined by a ticket from the DNR Police. OUI rules are strictly enforced on the water as well as on the road. *Dog walking in the Rhode River Area* Dogs may not be brought ashore at Camp Lett. Instead, take your dog to nearby Flat Island. Please leave a clean wake and pick up after your pooch. *Thursday Evening Dinghy Raft-up* If you arrive early, join the Dinghy Raft-up for a potluck cocktail party.
