Yeah. Sucks that IBM shafted Gary Kildall and went with $Bill instead;
we would have had a professional OS designed by a brilliant programmer,
and would have saved untold billions of dollars in computer crashes.
Instead, we got DOS.
Oh well. We've got Linux nowadays, so history is back on the right
track. :)
