Um... whoops. *NOW* I know what happened to those two Pelicans of
mine. :) Fortunately, Pelican has a no-questions-asked lifetime
warranty, and replaced them for me. Even better, I haven't gotten around
to lubing these up yet. Vaseline it is, then.

Good quality flashlights are one of the things that I'm very, very picky
about - precisely because they're the kind of thing that you so
desperately *need* at those times when everything is going sideways and
there's no "do-overs". Not a whole lot of items in that category for me,
but I'm always on the lookout for the best quality and price for those
things that are.
