Thanks, Sailingdream! That was exactly what I was looking for. The "scope" is a
little larger than I was looking for (the entire Northeast Atlantic) but it
does show the gradients around the NY/Long Island area.
The shortcut to that site is now joining the other wx sites on my desktop!
