Free to a good home, one Searunner 37. I can't tell you much about this
boat except that my wife and I built her and launched her as KUAN YIN
1990. We lived aboard and cruised the eastern and western Caribbean for
12 years before making the big mistake of buying a house and selling
her. We sold her to a jerk who renamed her Never Married. He sailed her
to the Keys, got drunk and stayed that way until a hurricane sobered him
up.

She was built to last a lifetime, but considering the lack of any
maintenance for the last 8 years there may be some problems. Her gear
has been striped, and all that remains is the Yanmar diesel, which i am
told might run with a little coaxing.

If her hull and decks are still sound and the right person is found, a
bit of scrounging for gear may just bring her back to life.

She was a great cruising boat. Handled very well and could make 200 mile
days without breaking a sweat. The Harken roller furlers on the staysail
and jib still have decent sails bent on to them, and a Sea Tiger 555a
windless sits ready for some fresh 5/16" chain to spin its gypsy.

The double spreader rig is bullet proof and has Staylock fittings.

The current owner contacted me this evening and wants to be rid of her.
(He's not the one I sold it to.) If you, or someone you know, might be
interested, she's in Myrtle Beach SC. Drop me a line and I'll fill you
in on the details.
