I'm very happy with a Johnson 30hp on my 10 foot Caribe RIB.  I added
electric start, and just recently added a PV panel on top of the cowling to
keep the battery up in this low speed harbor. 

 The world's first Hybrid Outboard! 

Forget about the Seagull.  The best I have heard about it is that it is
easy to take apart.
