Morgans Bluff in Andros can be very rough in wind out of the north.  There
are 2 harbors, one inside the other. You can anchor very close in the outer
harbor and dinghy into the inner harbor. Theres no room to anchor inside the
inner harbor.

There will be a small concrete dock right in front of you. Tie up there and
walk a short distance to your left, down and across the street. The customs
office is (was) in a tiny unmarked white trailer. It is the only structure
with a chain link fence topped with old barbed wire. If the guys there you're
in luck.

No additional fees besides the cruising fee.

If you are planning to head to Nassau, and have not conducted any commerce
(have not bought anything) between the U.S. and Nassau, you can wait to check
in there.  The customs agent comes to the marina.

You can also check in at Cat Cay.  If you anchor out and dinghy in, they are
not supposed to charge you to check in, but it is a constant battle between the
marina and the customs agent to keep them from charging you.  Basically, in the
Bahamas, if they can charge you and get away with it, that is what they are
going to do.  Chub Cay is also available for checking.  If you take a slip, it
is free,  If you do not, it is $100.  Sometimes, if you purchase fuel, after
you check in, you might get by without paying the landing fee.  You might want
to Skype them and see what their most recent practice is.  Nice marina, but it
is expensive and there is not much there.  Just this ghost town of a lovely
island.  There is a small anchorage just off the island next to the entrance
marks.

Some people check in on Andros and there you don't have to pay for a marina
because I don't think there is one, but you have to have a dinghy to do that.
