I looked at the essay and noted the “glop” in the bottom of the steel tank.
I saw no mention of modifying the suction pipe to withdraw the fuel from the very bottom of the tank. If you did not do this you missed a golden opportunity to eliminate future fuel problems. A word to the wise is sufficient. All others should keep their SeaTow subscription current.
