So interesting. While I was on the phone with Hyatt Legal Services getting the referral information for a lawyer, the marina owner called me back. He said he was away for the weekend. He has a salvage company who is supposed to be trying to get some bags up here from Ft. Lauderdale and get the hull up out of the water with those. He said he is also in contact with Boat US for their help. He said that he is going to get it stabilized before I go out of town on Thursday morning. Interestingly he said that when he was taking his boat out on Friday he fouled his prop with a 6' piece of carpet that he didn't know where it came from. I guess when the water gets low you start finding everything that has been hiding in your marina for the past 60 years. He really needs to get the bottom cleaned out.
I am still going to talk to the lawyer though.
