Hey All,
Here's some things that I've thought of to be done yet for the next release. I didn't just add them to the TODO file, because I wanted some comments or discussion on them first, please. So what do you think of the following?
Remove ssl key pairs and generate key on startup of sshd daemon (if one hasn't been made since boot)
Figure out the proper way of running 'updatedb' when the basic build is done to make use of locate.
Verify that the autosshd idea is working, last time I checked it wasn't.
Include raid-tools as per request by Matt Darcy.
Include distcc as per request by Roger Merchberger.
Find a way to eject the cd upon shutdown.
Remove login prompt as per suggestions by Alexander.
Current build instructions end up messing with the hostname of the host machine. Need to fix that or, actually, IIRC, the reason this happens is because I tried to do some hostname magic in the OpenSSH build so that the key generation would be correct. If we can prevent openssh from doing that during the build, problem solved.
I think that's about it for now...
Thanks,
