BTW, nano will be either completely removed or upgraded to a development
(1.3.x) version on LFS-7.0 Live CD (i.e. rather far in the future).
Rationale: removal of all programs that don't support UTF-8. Which of
those two alternatives do you prefer?
I'd rather have it upgraded to a development version just so that we can
offer users the editor of their choice on the LiveCD.
I agree. Alexander, I want to *limit* the amount of programs removed
based on that rationale. On the whole, I'm very happy with the packages
we have chosen as of now for the cd, and as much as possible, I'd like
to keep them on. Whenever get to that point where we're looking at
making the cd completely utf-8 compliant, let's discuss each package in
question.
As far as the nanorc goes, syntax highlighting is generally very useful,
so feel free to copy that over.
