Hi,

I was in need of a "good" partition tool to deal with my ibook's drive and decided to give the ppc 6.1-rc1 live CD a shot. First observation : it didn't boot from a firewire drive (Pionneer DVR-108). The CD was shown bootable by pressing the "alt" key at startup, but trying to boot was just bringing me back to the screen where you choose which drive to boot from, display color were "altered".
Booting from the internal cd-drive was fine, however.
I was very surprised to find parted was included, that's nice, but I don't know how to use it __easily__ to create a bootstrap partition for yaboot. I was wondering if it would be possible to get debian's mac-fdisk (which is a modified pdisk, I seem to recall) ? BTW, any idea of when the next ppc live CD will be available ? I hope to get a few time to play with lfs soon and I'd like to start from your (nice) CD.
