Hey All,
This note mostly for Alexander, but all are welcome to comment if they
have an opinion or suggestion.
With all the recent edits going into LFS 6.1 a real push has been
underway for release in the near future. Therefore, I want to move from
our current production mode into release mode. I don't think we should
try to include any more new concepts or ideas into livecd trunk, but we
should focus now on smoothing out the final product so that we have a
release candidate when 6.1 is released. This very well could be within
a week or two.
Please look at the TODO in the repo for items that I've marked as should
be included for a release. Also anything that is now "broken" should be
fixed in anticipation of a release. (I'm alright with classifying the
current autosshd setup as broken, so let's do what we can to smooth that
out.)
When LFS 6.1 is released, we'll release a release candidate, post to the
lists asking for testers to come forward, and after a week or two more
of heavy testing, if there are no changes to be made to the iso, we'll
turn the release candidate into a release.
Sound good?
