These upgrades built fine last night in a trunk test build, and I used the livecd throughout the day without problems.
Alexander, your changes for udevstart and udev work very well also. No more ln errors at startup.
Not to sound too optimistic, but besides the XTerm font being a bit big, and the need to add adsl features to net-setup, trunk seems to be in working order again. :)
