If you want a CD that fixes this particular bug, then IMO, it's time to release a 6.2-pre1 CD. (Is 6.2 the next planned LFS version?) We've gotten past most of the bugs we were hitting in the LiveCD trunk scripts, so I think now is a good time to release.
That also would be no problem. Or for the time being (depending on how long it will be until a release, just make "dev-200510XX", etc versions.
Has the situation changed with 6.1 versions of LFS and gcc-4.0.1? I remember the FAQ says not to build with it since it will give problems. Releasing a 6.2-pre1 (which of course has gcc-4.0.1) will help the LFS 6.1 users little.
P.S. Make sure that the nALFS-profile that is included on the 6.2-pre1 CD is based on LFS trunk and not 6.1
Yep. :) Justin -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/livecd FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
