That would be a 486SX machine, then. All I can say is that building LFS on it will take ages. Last time I tried was several years ago when LFS only took 3 hours on my 1.3Ghz. It took almost 2 weeks on the 486. Now LFS on the same 1.3Ghz takes 6 hours so I would hate to think how long that would take you. Also, when I did it, I had linux on the HD already so at least seek times weren't as horrendous as they will be on a CD running on an ISA bus. Anyway, if you still want to do it, you can remaster the CD to add the kernel option (and remove any options you don't need).
