I have a Powerbook Titanium 1000. Another user, in the LFS-Support
IRC channel known as Edno, has a friend with the same issue I have.
The ppc livecd's kernel isn't getting past the serial driver. For me,
I can usually get the kernel to continue loading past the serial
driver if I give the touchpad some activity. Edno's friend couldn't
get it to get past the serial driver. I don't know how many machines
out there use 8250's but my powermac and powerbook don't use them.
Any input on this? I think Edno's friend got passed this by building
a livecd with a kernel not using the serial driver.
