BTW, I used this PS1 because it's my personal preference. If someone has other preferences, for whatever reason, I'd be happy to consider them. Be sure to include the reasons for your preference. ;)

It's fine. :) On my systems I just have the normal blfs [ [EMAIL PROTECTED] : dir ], no colors. The date/time is a neat feature also, but to me isn't useful since it was the date/time when you ran the last command or pressed enter, not the current time. Silly me would look at it at a glance and be at work later. ;) I'd rather just look at a clock, type `date` or in xfce/gnome/kde look in the corner. ;)

But for the LiveCD, it is fine.  Also a good example.
