Currently, not much (i.e.: the build is broken). I have completely
rewritten the main Makefile, and changed the uname hack and the
"scripts/functions" file in order to reduce the number of exports to the
possible minimum. I will commit once /tools build correctly for all
three "supported" architectures (x86, cross_x86 and qx64).
