Hi,   Im very new to Linux and have decided to throw myself in the deep end and have a crack at LFS.   I downloaded the liveCD but am unsure what to expect from it.   It boots the system fine, I get a bit  "greeting" text but then a flashing cursor and nothing else.   I got the impression it had a desktop environment built in but ive never seen it!    Am I getting the wrong idea about this LiveCD or am I falling short of the very first task!!   Hope someone can help   Rik
