After a few hours trying to boot the LiveCD 6.1.1.3 I figured out a "bug".
My system always hanged itself at: Searching for CD lfsliveblabla. Before
that it came with the error: Drive confused, irq 18.
I tried several bootoptions like: ide=nodma, irqpoll, noapic, acpi=off,
apm=off hdc=ide-scsi, etc. All with no result at all, or even more system
 hangups.

The solution was easy after all... In my bios I had to switch the
controller to PATA only and NOT PATA+SATA or whatever other options.

I hope this can be mentioned in a FAQ or something so other people don“t
have to try this for hours ;)

 Good luck with developing!

 Regards, Quentin
