I am trying to install LFS live cd on a laptop :).
When doing
/mnt/sources # patch -Np1 -i
binutils-2.15.94.0.2.2-gcc4-1.patch
it says :
can't find file to patch at input line 10
It is because the documentation is not made for live
cd installation, so FOLDERS are different :
the steps should be :
cd $LFS/sources
tar xvf /lfs-sources/binutils-2.15.94.0.2.2.tar.bz2
cd binutils-2.15.94.0.2.2
patch -Np1 -i
/lfs-sources/binutils-2.15.94.0.2.2-gcc4-1.patch
etc.
So the documentation is not clear for live cd
installation...
