Can't run X just now, am connecting over ssh and tunneling through a couple of machines to get to the ppc. The acrobatics necessary to get it to work right this second wouldn't be worth the trouble, I don't think. I do have plenty of extra tty* and pty* devices, though. What's the config option to get rid of those again? And yes, there are framebuffer devices compiled, but unfortunately, dmesg is full of usb events.
