Comment:
The uname hack was completely removed in r1584. The executables are still
compiled for i486, as confirmed by the fact that the CD boots successfully
in bochs configured for i486 emulation.
This testing method is valid because executables compiled inside this
bochs with -march=i686 fail with "Illegal instruction".
