also, it is an intel based laptop:
the MacBook black is based on a intel duocore T2500 (2GHz 2x4000
bogomips (more or less))
the driver of the wireless device should be the "ng" driver from
madwifi-ng project
and the 1000Mbit internet is not yet support by the kernel driver but
from the "proprietary" driver
i had no problem to start xfce (option "kbdmodel" "macintosh" works
well)
i used the lfs-livecd-x86-6.2-pre4 but i need refit to boot it
because it's an EFI system
(Refit is a boot manager for EFI systems and especially built for
macosX)
i think it won't be difficult to build an lfs system on this macbook
from the livecd
but some critical tools like the boot loaders should be installed on
the root partition and not to the mbr.
i'm not yet ready to test it by now because i have my "work placement
report" to do before.
But in two or three weeks i'll be on.
