Hi! Some days ago I found and started using T2 Open System Development Environment scripts (http://www.t2-project.org) to build a system and Live/Installation CDs. The system was built and tested, so I talked to Rene of exactcode.de about modifying them for use for LFS, BLFS, CLFS and HLFS. The scripts first create a cross.toolchain in which some stages are built and then recompile everything in native mode in various stages, so it is a way more similar to CLFS than LFS. Now after testing again the system, I'll begin to modify the scripts and then talk again with Rene; after the lfs projects are built using these scripts I'll put them into tests to see and check the results, failures etc... and then if he said that there are no problems, if someone is interested I could post the original and modified tarball. The idea was to modify scripts to build the stable or svn/development versions of the books; something like ALFS but with the opportunity to create even CDs/DVD Live and Installation images. The archs supported actually (T2-7.0.0-svn) are: alpha, arm, cris, hppa, hppa64, ia64, m68k, mips, mips64, powerpc, powerpc64, sh, sh64, sparc, sparc64, x86 and x86-64 but from what I saw it's easy to port to a new arch.
