Alexander, Thanks. About time machine.. well don't know, the only thing I know the execution of the jhalfs command executed some commands and compiled a lot of different packages I know this because I read the log files. It pretty much created a log for everything it executed. I don't think it created a live cd, but like you say a base.
Anyway, I decided to remove everything and started from scracth using of course the jhalfs command. Will see what happen after this.. 2k --- "Alexander E.
