#1751: No way to migrate systems with a disk manager to libata --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Owner: [email protected] Type: defect | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: CD | Version: SVN Keywords: | --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Some systems need a disk manager like "Ontrack Disk Manager ver. 10.42.04" in order to see large drives in the other OS. Traditionally, the way to deal with this in Linux was to add "hda=remap63" or a similar option to the kernel arguments. However, there is no obvious equivalent for this option in libata-based IDE drivers. We need to find this equivalent and include it into the future CD images.
