#1736: intel combined mode got removed in linux-2.6.22 ---------------------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Owner: [email protected] Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: highest | Milestone: 6.3 Component: CD | Version: SVN Resolution: worksforme | Keywords: ---------------------------------------------+------------------------------ Changes (by [EMAIL PROTECTED]):
* status: new => closed * resolution: => worksforme Comment: There were no reports of breakage. Kernels with both CONFIG_BLK_DEV_PIIX=y and CONFIG_ATA_PIIX=y (i.e., what the users of LFS are supposed to build) assign the same device names as the default LiveCD kernel (confirmed by snik), so there is no need to think about the forced migration to libata for IDE disks. So let's assume that the bug does not exist. -- Ticket URL: <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/livecd/ticket/1736#comment:2> LiveCD Trac <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/livecd/> Linux From Scratch LiveCD -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/livecd FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
