syslinux package is not a base package in the F12 Fedora/os/Packages/ tree. This means I need to configure an Everything repository to use livecd-creator.
The problem this creates is that if I'm wanting to use a local media source, like a mounted DVD ISO to create even a minimal LiveCD.. I cannot. I also notice that using repo with the --cost configured correctly for a local repository and an online repository doesn't work like it should. I am hoping that we can get syslinux into teh base set of packages, since using the hosts's syslinux won't work if I am on a i686 machine building an x86_64 LiveCD, or at least I assume this is why the host's syslinux isn't used and there is a requirement on syslinux from the repository being installed from to the LiveCD root filesystem. Anyone have any idea what we can do about this, and should I just request this at bugzilla.redhat.com as an RFE? -- livecd mailing list [email protected] https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/livecd
