I like to install to the local hard drive using the Live DVD.
I haven't seen that utility on any of the Live USB's I have
made up. Huh? Am I missing something?

What LiveDVD image are you referring to? All of the offical Live media from the Fedora Project is
installable... although there maybe one or two that don't have an "Install to hard drive"
icon on the desktop by default. For example the KDE spin is like that... you have to hunt down the
"liveinst" program in the menu or run it directly with a search and/or Alt+F2.

If you are talking about Live media you have built yourself... if you don't
have a liveinst program, you probably just need to add a few packages to your
kickstart and build again. What packages? I'll save that as an exercise for
the reader... but a hint would be to look at one or more of the kickstarts used
to build the official Fedora Live media which can be found in the
fedora-kickstarts package.

TYL,

If I cut it to a DVD, it is installable. But the feature seems to
be missing if I cut it to a USB
